We play a lot of games here, I LOVE it. I'm in game heaven! Below are the two games we probably play the most. I won Blokus this time we played, I was green.
It was Karen's dad's retirement party so a lot of her family came over. Here's most of the 'grandkids' with 'grandpa'.
You may've seen my post on FB and Instagram about a campaign we did at Covenant House Alaska where we wrote on these papers what kind of world we wanted girls to live in. I chose a world where girls are respected!
John is Karen and Rob's youngest. He likes his whipped cream. Every time we have it, he loads it on--it's hilarious!
Rob is the ward mission leader, so we see the Elders a lot. Elder Burton kept spilling on himself so Rob got a towel and an apron and put them on Elder Burton to protect his shirt from dying. It worked!
It's kid of Spring here! It's been warming up, and I drove today with the windows down-- soooo nice! Meanwhile, I still freeze in the office. ;) Here are some more beautiful pictures of Alaska I took while driving!
EASTER happened! I went to three services on Easter Sunday. Easter Mass with the ministry at Covenant House Alaska, my ward service, and a musical service at an LDS church that night. We also had time to decorate eggs. I had a LITTLE too much fun.... See below:
Overall, I'm having a really good time here in Alaska!
I've even started the #100happydays challenge on facebook. I'm 10 days in, and I'm excited!! :)
That's all for now,
