Happy Birthday to Youuuuuuuu

For my roommate Skylar's 21st birthday (her birthday is actually tomorrow), we (as in 18 of us) all went to Spark. It was a lot of fun and it was great to celebrate with her. I ordered a chicken club sandwich and a bottomless lemonade. Delish.

That One Time I Went to Festival of Colors

So for our ward, we're doing this thing called "Tie Dates". So this is how it works: Girls pick the ties of boys in the ward. There's a time/date on the tie, and on the inside of the tie is a name. BUT you don't get to know who's tie it is until you choose a date/time that works for you. So you don't know who you're going with until you pick a tie. Then you do two secret acts of service for them before the date and then you show up at the date- them not knowing who you are. It's kind of genius.

For my second tie date we went to Festival of Colors. I went with Rachel May, Trevor Bentley, Ryan Miller, Ho'o Enos, Chelsey Cattelain, Dalton Purnell, Mickey Martin, Lauren Rigby, and Cameron Birrell. In my car (by my car, I mean Trevor's) there was Trevor, Rachel, Mickey, Lauren, Cameron and I. We all fit in a 5 passenger car- which wasn't too bad actually. It was fun. Pretty much, we got there just before 5 and missed the first chalk throwing, so we waited around til 7:!5 when they did the last chalk throwing and just hung out and had a blast. Anyways, so Trevor and Rachel, Cameron and I went into the center of the crowd and it was craaaaazy. When the chalk was thrown, it was like a puff of brown smoke and it was so hard to breathe.
