I had SO much fun. And the music was all really good. I had never heard The Blind Actuaries or The Brocks, so it was neat to stay and hear them after the Lovecapades. I'm so glad we went :) And plus, it didn't hurt that the Lovecapades are really attractive :):) It was just a great night. Filled with good conversation and wonderful music.

Anyways, that's all for now. More confessions to come.

That One Time We Beat Kenlynn

So for our ward, we're doing this thing called "Tie Dates". So this is how it works: Girls pick the ties of boys in the ward. There's a time/date on the tie, and on the inside of the tie is a name. BUT you don't get to know who's tie it is until you choose a date/time that works for you. So you don't know who you're going with until you pick a tie. Then you do two secret acts of service for them before the date and then you show up at the date- them not knowing who you are. It's kind of genius.

For my first tie date, we went to Fat Cats and played pool then sang some Karaoke. It was a blast. I didn't have my camera, so we stopped by the apartment to take some group pictures before the end of the date. I had so much fun. I'd never really played pool (by the real rules) so I was suuuper nervous. But everyone made it so much fun, that I couldn't help but enjoy myself. And, apparently I wasn't too bad. Especially since me and Jacob A., beat Kenlynn and Jacob S. and I looooved it. Probably 10 x more cause it looked like Kenlynn and Jacob were going to break the 1-1 tie and then they choked and we had a couple of really lucky hits and we WON!!!! :) Winning is the best.

Look at her beautiful eyes!

Our boy band stance.

smilesssss.

Love it.

hahahahaahah

cute

AWKWARD.

Kenlynn, Jacob S., Jacob A., Me

Screaming (aka laughing) hahahaa
And what's crazy is that I missed a Foster the People concert to go on this date. If you ask me, it was TOTALLY worth it. :)

Anyways, that's all for now. More confessions to come.

That One Time I Landed Myself in the ER

Once upon a time we played jumbo twister for FHE. There were like 4 FHE groups there. It was epic. Then, it got competitive. Michael Huefner said "You're going down" and we all laughed. Little did I know I would be going down.... hard.

At one point in twister, Michael Huefner tried to get me out by leaning on me a little bit. I leaned back. Then we had to move our leg to a new color, and he straight up kneed me in the head. I fell to the ground sobbing in pain. Everyone kind of froze, no one knew what to do. After like 5 minutes, I got up and decided to go home. I wanted to go to bed, but I had a headache and was feeling nauseous and my roommates told me I should go to the ER. Well, to save money we went to Urgent Care. The doctor there said if it got worse to go to the ER, but that the likelihood of me having a concussion was slim. What a punk doctor. So it definitely got worse. I was holding on to my head in pain (with motrin, probably 7/10), and I was getting more nauseous by the minute. So, my roommate Chelsey, and my FHE mom Kelsey, drove me to the ER. After waiting a looooong time:

We finally got back to the room to see the doctor. Everyone who looked at my chart laughed cause it said "kneed in head playing twister".... I guess it's okay because they weren't laughing at my pain, just how I got my pain. Apparently my pain was normal for a CONCUSSION. Cause after a CT scan, I was discharged with the diagnosis of  "concussion" and was told to take it easy/rest, and I was on a clear liquid diet for 24 hours. Which lasted more like 72 because I was still so nauseous. All I "ate" for like 3-4 days was Sobe and saltines.

I know I'm smiling in these pictures, but do not be deceived. I was in LOADS of pain. And as I put it before, I would rather go through two brain surgeries than have a concussion. Concussions are the WORST. Fact. I even missed a week of school, which I'm still desperately trying to catch up on.

The end.

Anyways, that's all for now. More confessions to come.
